Thieves - Cleaning Toys - Bath Toys

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!!!!

There are about one hundred and one ways to use Young Livings Thieves products.

Have you tried cleaning your children's toys with it?

It's my favourite way to clean during the holidays.

Its the season for friends and family, with so much company it can be hard to keep up.

This cleaner gives me so much comfort knowing my family, friends and pets are all safe from harsh chemicals.

Cleaning Bath Toys

Sorry to tell you, but you can't assume that your kid's nightly bubble bath is keeping his or her bath toys squeaky clean to the point of good health.
In fact, the opposite is true.  I went looking and I found researchers had found "slimy biofilms" of bacteria inside each bath toy they examined after they had been used in water. That is scary.
It gets worse and I felt as though I was reading the script for a Sci-fi movie that would scare the jeepers out of you.
I have found that Scientists are racing to develop new weapons that will destroy the slimy colonies of those bacteria known as "slimy biofilms".  The cause tens of thousands of deaths across the US every year.
Read this:
Biofilms are the leading cause of infections acquired in hospitals. They grow on medical devices such as heart valves, pacemakers, and catheters. They take rootinside wounds, pulsing and rippling as they spread. Some even sprout tiny legs — and use them to walk across surfaces.
Encased in gooey protective sheaths, biofilms are exceptionally hard to stop. Many are impervious to antibiotics. They also cost the health care system billions each year, as patients often require surgery to remove and replace contaminated implants.
This is what Martha Stewart suggests "a monthly wash will help keep the nasties away"  - Stewart recommends adding 1/2 cup of white vinegar to a gallon of water, letting the toys soak for 10 minutes, giving them a scrub, squeezing and releasing the bath toys to suck the solution up inside them, squeezing it all back out, and letting them air dry.
The Young Living family makes it really easy.  Or we need to do is to reach for our essential oil infused cleaner - Thieves.  Yes, we use the Thieves cleaner.  We can use it on all toys and we remove the worry about them putting things in their mouth or ingesting chemicals.
